Wartime Blues is an eight-member mountain band from Missoula, Montana. Formed in 2006, they play hellfire music about the West they live in. Wartime released an EP through SnowGhost Music in Whitefish, Montana in 2008 and recorded their first full-length, "Doves & Drums," in the Summer of '09. They've shared bills with Bill Callahan, Jerry Joseph, Blind Pilot, Devil Makes Three, and Point Juncture, Wa., amongst others, embarked on a tour of the West in May '09 and will do it again Feb. '10.
Wartime Blues loves Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, Kettlehouse beer, fires, hamburgers, and most of all, Wartime Blues loves you!
